Lindow - town of three lakes

The town Lindow is a health resort and is located in the
Ruppiner Land, in between his clear lakes and his forests about
60 km north of Berlin.
-> map of the
area
It is with its 2600 inhabitants the center of the area and has
everything that is important to a town. The center of the town
shows its interesting history.
Pure relaxing is found at the three lakes of Lindow:
The Vielitz Lake has an area of 150 ha, and is located in the
midst of a heath land. With its wealth of eels, pikes and many
others, it is an ideal place for anglers.
The great Gudelack Lake has an area of 438 ha and is 20 meters
deep. The Rhin channel connects it with the Vielitz Lake, the
Lakes of the Ruppin area and the shipping route to
Berlin-Spandau. Thus it is perfectly qualified for canoe tours.
Besides there are bathing places, a sailing school, naval base
as well as an island in the lake.
At the Wutz Lake, which is also 20 meters deep (area: 106 ha)
there are many bathing places; the lake is prohibited for
motorboats. Maybe, so that the water nymph who, after a legend,
is living on the ground of the lake, will not be disturbed?
