Good rentability to those seeking relaxation

Highlights of nature...

Close to the holiday camp you can go swimming, fishing, take a trip on a boat or a steamer. You can also go hiking or go on a biking tour and enjoy the snow in winter. Or just take an excursion to the Stork Forge an the crane resting place in the conservation station Rhinluch (Linum). After all you might visit the nature trail in the forest of Herzberg. There is a path with a length of 1 km with 30 stations where you will experience and learn a lot (www.waldhof-herzberg.de).

There is also the opportunity of playing volleyball, badminton, basketball, or soccer. More individual and creative activities are:

  • boat license during your holidays (www.schifffahrt-rheinsberg.de)
  • who likes diving or wants to learn it, should visit the PADI Dive Center (www.outdoorcamp.de) they offer diving for people from 12 years and older and in the diving courses you can get an international accepted diving license, also for people in wheelchair.
  • A day in the "Ziegeleipark Mildenberg" (a brickyard-park): Full of experiences and a paradise for kids (www.ziegeleipark.de)
  • Animal Park Kunsterspring (www.tierpark-kunsterspring.com)
  • Nature-Parc House Stechlin, barrier-free (www.naturparkhaus.de)
  • horse riding - therapeutical riding
  • creative shaping with materials from nature
  • painting courses for children and adults
  • photography courses
  • Working with lime/ soapstone - Modelling of jewellery lockets, pendants, amulets and small sculptures
  • metal sculptures and jewellery designers - courses on jewellery design and goldsmiths' work
  • pottery as relaxation - learn about the different techniques - there are no limits to your creativity!

These and many of the other workshops are mostly barrier-free.

On the lakes and rivers of Lindow and Ruppin water hiking is very popular too. The lakes of Ruppin have many camping places, excursion destinations and berths for that.

... and culture

Our culture festivals in Lindow and its environment meet high demands:

Lindow:
In the baroque church there are traditional weekly summer concerts and exhibitions of local artists. These exhibitions are inaugurated every year after the opening concert.

Banzendorf:
On the Vierseiten farm, built 1860, in the midst of a typical Brandenburg village take place choir concerts, chamber music, exhibitions, cabaret, readings and film shows.

Further information: Förderverein Banzendorfer Kulturscheune e.V. (www.banzendorfer-kulturscheune.de)

Vielitz:
Opera concerts, arias and duetts, chanson evenings, piano concerts (e.g. German Opera Berlin, Brandenburg Symphonics) - all that is waiting in the Music Shed Vielitz for our guests - inclusive panorama-view. Cabaret is played here as well.

Further information: Förderkreis Musikscheune Vielitz e.V. (www.musikscheune-vielitz.de)

Rheinsberg:
Universally known is the Chamber Opera Schloß Rheinsberg. Other cultural highlights are the music theatre and the castle theatre Rheinsberg.
